I seem to remember something about saying I wanted to launch the website on April 1st. Something about wanting to drop it on April Fool’s Day in honor of all the fools who doubted us.
Guess what? I lied. By the time you read this, the website will have launched.
I’ve worked in the web space before. A lot of times clients hold up the launch approval process. And, to be real, I can’t really blame them. Companies invest a ton of money in digital marketing agencies, meaning they want a perfect product.
Thing of it is, there’s still plenty to do post-launch. I just want to get everything up and running so I can integrate what I need to integrate on the fly.
I figure it like this: the sooner I get this thing launched, the sooner I can tweak things, and the sooner I can deliver poker merch and apparel designed for the grinder. So, yes: as much as I’m doing this for myself, I’m doing this for you, as well.
Honestly, I have no idea. Without selling a single article of clothing so far, The Felt U Crew has gained a solid following so far. Put it like this: by the time we start rolling up to tournaments in gear, people will know we’re coming.
You read the bio: The Felt U Crew was established in March. To be honest, I think it was about three weeks ago today. Things have been a whirlwind since then. I actually can’t believe I made it this deep into the post without referencing COVID-19… not to mention how its impact on the poker world. I’ve heard through the grapevine that small pockets of online poker clubs have started up. While from a legal standpoint I know absolutely nothing about that, I do know that once this quarantine gets lifted, I know what I’m going to do…
…I’m hitting the tables in Felt U Crew gear.
And, in the very near future, you’ll be able to rock it as well.
